With great honor the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry announces their 2012 Ambassador of the Year...Jeff Vollmar, proprietor of A-1 Handyman, Shelby Township.

Jeff will receive recognition on February 21 at the Chambers Annual Membership and Business Awards breakfast.  This award is based on several attributes accomplished by Jeff that incuded his attending the annual ambassadors conference held this last September in Jackson Michigan as well as numerous ribbon cuttings, breakfast and businesses, network and learns, after 5's, economic alliance events, luncheon events, expos, grub crawls, and most importantly, visiting regulary with peer members throughtout the year.

Mr. Vollmar has been a chanmber member since 2005 and welcomed to the ambassador committee in June of 2007. Jeff served as chairman for this committee in 2009 and most recently has added chamber director to his title.  He has been a faithful participant of one of the chambers BRAG-Business Resource Alliance Groups that meets weekly at Lee Ellena Funeral Home in Macomb Township.  His volunteerism displays a faithfulness well beyond all others and his mentoring has provided a stronger committee.  We so value is dedication states Linda Colton, Community & Professional Relationships Manager and Ambassador Coordinator.

Jeff, his wife Terri and daughter Natalie are residents of Shelby Township.  The staff and Chamber Directors whole heartily congratulate Jeff.
