Eisenhower Battles Walled Lake Central in Football Playoffs
Eagles play for regional championship Friday at 7 p.m.
Eisenhower will host Walled Lake Central in a Division 1 football regional championship game at Swinehart Field on Friday at 7 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on the Internet on FoxSportsDetroit.com.
The Eagles, the champion of the MAC Red Division, are 10-1 overall and are appearing in a regional title game for the second straight year.
In his First Pitch blog on mhsaa.com, Geoff Kimmerly points out that Eisenhower’s defense has not allowed a point since the first week of October.
The Eagles will be tested by versatile Walled Lake Central quarterback Zac Leimbach, who has overcome personal tragedy to lead his team to an 8-3 record and upset victories over Clarkston and Lake Orion in the playoffs.
