Here's your chance to sit and talk with Utica State Rep. Jeff Farrington.

 

District 30 State Rep. Jeff Farrington wants to meet with you.

Farrington will be holding public office hours April 30 at the Sterling Heights Public Library Programming Center from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The center is located at 40255 Dodge Park Road in Sterling Heights.

In December 2011, Farrington introduced controversial House Bill 5223, which called for drug tests to be used to determine eligibility for welfare benefits.

Farrington will meet with residents to discuss the bill and state and local issues of interest.

No appointments are necessary to meet with Farrington. Residents unable meet Farrington can contact him with questions or concerns by emailing JeffFarrington@house.mi.gov or by calling (517) 373-7768.

Kudos to Jeff for taking a controversial stand! Drug addiction is a difficult issue, but something that can be overcome. Why wouldn't we agree that the secondary, (but even more important) benefit of helping someone get clean be a great thing?!
