Macomb County Road Update

Find out where the orange barrels will be this weekend for a smooth commute.

 

The Michigan Department of Transportation is planning roadwork and lane restrictions throughout Macomb County this weekend. 

I-94:

The right lane of eastbound I-94 will be closed for maintenance from 11 Mile Road to 12 Mile Road from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

During this same time, the eastbound I-94 ramp to 12 Mile Road will be closed. Then the 12 Mile Road ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed from 6 to 11 a.m.

Just south of Macomb County, westbound I-94 will be closed for center-lane paving from 8 Mile to Gratiot from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.

Westbound I-94 will be closed from 8 Mile to Gratiot from 10 p.m., Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday.

I-696

The left lanes of both eastbound and westbound I-696 will be closed for ongoing construction between Mound and Dequindre roads from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

M-59

Two lanes of westbound M-59 will be closed for pavement repair from Hayes to Van Dyke from 9 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

M-97 (Groesbeck Highway):

• In Macomb County, the two left lanes of northbound Groesbeck will be closed for maintenance from 9 Mile to Frahzo from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
