Our deepest sympathy to all involved. No one ever expects such horrible tragedy to strike when doing one's job. This is why "accident" is used for explanition. My family saw the entire crew doing a wonderful job triming very large trees at our next door residence. God bless everyone, our neighbors, police and fire department, and cleaning crew, who treated the entire scene with such respect and grace for the gentlemen who lost his life .

My wife tells me that this man also did some work over at our place some years back. Condolences to his family on losing him so suddenly. I also admire people who do this kind of work. I wouldn't get within 50 feet of one of those machines. The person who made the insensitive comment at the top of this thread is a small person indeed.

This man was a wonderful son and father. I had the pleasure of being his banker years ago. He was a very hard working man. I recently spoke with him at CVS and he was beaming while updating me on his daughters. He was so very proud. He will be missed. My sincere condolences go out to his mother and family and his friends.

Our most sincere condolences go out to his family. We were wondering if there has been any kind of fund started for the family... He was a good customer and we would like to help the family out in this time of need. Does anyone know of a memorial service or who to contact? We did not want to bother the family for the information.

I just tried to call Shawn to have him do some more landscape work, like I've done probably 25 times over the years. I am so saddened to hear of his accident. He was wonderful to both my mother and me. He always went over and beyond what was expected. He absolutely loved his mother and girls. He was truly one of a kind and one of my favorite people.
