Peace Lutheran student wins Macomb Daily Spelling Bee Sunday.
Peace Lutheran Fifth-grader, Nathaniel Britton was crowned the youngest student to win the annual Macomb Daily Spelling Bee Sunday.
Next up, for the spelling whiz: the Scripps National Spelling Bee near Washington.
For Britton, a knack for spelling runs in the family. According to the Advisor and Source, his grandfather, Frank Petrovich, on his mother's side, won the Detroit Free Press spelling bee in 1941 when he was in eighth grade.
However, Britton admits gym, not English, is his favorite subject. To read more about Britton's triump, click here.
