Utica Golfers Qualify for State Finals
Chieftains finish second at Division 1 regional tournament.

The Utica golf team finished second at the Division 1 regional tournament at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Oakland Township on Thursday.
With the performance, the Chieftains advanced to next week’s state finals at The Meadows at Grand Valley State.
Junior Taylor Clark finished second overall and led Utica with a 77.
Killian Casson shot a 79 to finish third, and Julia Montgomery shot an 81 to place fifth for the Chieftains. Angela Hagen had a 94 for Utica.
Eisenhower’s season came to an end after the Eagles placed eighth. Sarah Coltman had a 95 for Eisenhower.
