Does anyone know what happen with the armed robbery in Shelby this past weekend? The police were all over 22 Mile and Van Dyke. I heard their was a robbery. I find it odd that serious crime in Shelby, Utica, and Sterling rarely gets reported.....instead we hear about sausage theifs.

Hi Pamela. You rarely hear crime news out of Shelby Township because it's very difficult to obtain. There are only a few people in the Shelby PD that will talk to the media. I tried to call about the robbery today and nobody could talk to me. I am still waiting to hear information. I know it doesn't seem balanced, but Utica has made it much easier for the public to obtain information.

Sausage theft is not something you read about everyday....but I suppose $450 worth went a long way in the homeless community this Christmas. Maybe we should pass the hat and count our blessings.

Mrs Adcox there have been multiple robberies in Shelby Township over the last couple of months. One place in particular was hit (3) times. Unfortunately, I doubt that these crimes will be solved because that would require that they actually be investigated. Please pray the property owners dont get hurt by one of these thugs.

All of these crimes are committed by spear chuckin' ex-Detroiters now living nearby with an "auntie" or in some kind of 3 bedroom Section 8 household with 10 people residing or "staying" at the address. Thank Clinton and Obama for tearing down the inner city projects, giving the welfare cheats Section 8 housing vouchers to live right next to you. Now go kiss your daughter or niece who voted for Obama.
