Memorial Day is the traditional kick off to the summer BBQ season, and hamburgers will be the meat choice for many grillers. The simple hamburger is 'jazzed up' in this recipe by combining various meats and seasoning to offer a unique flavored hamburger.
This recipe is rather easy, and certainly allows for you to add ( or subtract) your own seasonings to make it your own creation. For example, Nitsches Meats & Deli in addition to offering the traditional Chicken Italian sausage, now offers a 'Tequila Jalapeno Chicken' sausage for those who love 'heat'. Substituting this 'intensely flavored' sausage could take this hamburger recipe to a whole new level. Nitsches also offers a 'Zesty Italian Sausage, with a medium level of heat that could be added to this recipe as well. Note: ALL fresh sausages at Nitsches Meats & Deli are made in house using our own unique recipes.
If nothing else the recipe may inspire you to create your own specialty hamburger this weekend. Enjoy!
