Enjoy live cool jazz at a National Historic Landmark this summer. Local jazz favorite musician George “Sax” Benson returns to Meadow Brook Hall for the annual summer concert series and the Bob Mervak Trio will join the lineup.
Back by popular demand George “Sax” Benson will perform Thursday, June 21 and new to the line-up this year, the Bob Mervak Trio, will perform Thursday, July 19. Closing the summer series on Wednesday, August 15 is the Oakland University Jazz Quartet. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. Admission is $30 per person, which includes a main floor tour of The Hall and light hors d’oeuvres.
The hors d’oeuvres menu includes a variation the following: spinach artichoke dip with crispy pita chips, corn tortilla chips with house-made salsa, seasonal garden vegetable crudités with savory dip, fresh fruits and berries with yogurt coulis and mixed nuts. A cash bar will be available.
Throughout the year Meadow Brook Hall hosts a variety of educational programs and special events. All proceeds from the programs support the preservation and interpretation of The Hall.

Located in Rochester Hills, Meadow Brook is the historic home built by one of the automotive aristocracy's most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automobile pioneer John Dodge and her second husband, lumber broker Alfred Wilson.
