We are a warm and friendly group of people committed to personal development, public speaking and leadership skills. Toastmasters membership offers a great value in overcoming your fears of public speaking and will help build your confidence. Drop in to our meetings as a guest and see all the fun we have while building communications skills.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays in the Shelby Twp. Community center "Cardroom" on 51670 Van Dyke Ave. in Shelby Twp. We welcome visitors to meet our friendly members and see our meetings in progress.

The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

I was curious about what this cost. It took me awhile to find out what the dues were but I believe this is correct.

72.00 per year, which is not a lot for what seems to be offered.
I think all cost associated should be listed with every event so people are not surprised if they attend.

Hi Matt, thanks for the interest. Each Toastmaster club has two components to membership dues. One part is to the Corporate organization the other is the local club. Our 2012 dues, for 6months of membership, is only $60. The initial guest visit is FREE. You are right, its an incredible value to be a member. Come visit us and see.
