CEO OF HENRY FORD MACOMB HOSPITALS TO SERVE AS HONORARY CHAIRWOMAN AT ARAB AMERICAN AND CHALDEAN COUNCIL'S 12TH ANNUAL GOLF OUTING & SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS DINNER

The Arab American and Chaldean Council (ACC), a premier nonprofit human service organization serving southeast Michigan, is pleased to announce Barbara Rossmann as one of the organization’s honorary chairs for its 12th Annual Golf Outing & Scholarship Awards Dinner Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield (5600 Walnut Lake Road).

Barbara Rossmann joined Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals in 1999 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  She was appointed president and Chief Executive Officer in January 2004. Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals is among Macomb County’s leading employers and health providers, with approximately 3,500 employees, 1,000 medical staff members, an acute care hospital with tertiary level services, inpatient behavioral health and rehabilitation facilities, and an extensive regional ambulatory network, including six health centers.

“We are very pleased to have Barbara serve as one of our honorary chairs for the Annual Golf Outing, “ said Dr. Haifa Fakhouri, president and CEO of the Arab American and Chaldean Council. “I know she will help make this year’s event a success.”

About the 12th Annual Golf Outing & Scholarship Awards Dinner

Registration and lunch will begin at 10 a.m., as the driving range opens, followed by an 11:15 a.m. shotgun start for an 18-hole game of golf.  The dinner program, which includes the scholarship award ceremony, golf tournament award distribution and silent auction, will start at 5 p.m.  Scholarships, whose funds are generated from the event, will be awarded to local high school seniors of Arab American and Chaldean descent.

 Tickets range from $100 per person for dinner, which includes cocktails, the silent auction, giveaways and more, to the golf and dinner package at $200 per person and $750 for a foursome.  Information on sponsorship and participation opportunities can be found on at www.myacc.org.
