Peter J. Lucido Announces Scholarships for Local Students

Peter J. Lucido, Shelby Township resident and candidate for State House of Representatives (District 36), is sponsoring two scholarships for high school seniors attending Utica Schools and Romeo High School.

 

The Peter J. Lucido for State Representative “Red, White, and Blue Scholarship” is open to high school seniors attending Utica, Henry Ford II, Eisenhower, Stevenson, and Romeo High Schools.  Students must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and be the child of a United States Armed Forces Veteran.  The applicant must also submit a 250-word essay detailing the sacrifices that their families have made while their parent(s) have served our country.  Mr. Lucido will award the Red, White, and Blue Scholarship of $250.00 to two deserving students.

The Peter J. Lucido for State Representative “Brighter Tomorrow Scholarship” is open to high school seniors attending Utica, Henry Ford II, Eisenhower, Stevenson, and Romeo High Schools.  Students must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.  The applicant must also submit a 250-word essay explaining the student’s ideas as to the changes that Michigan must make can make to ensure that our best and brightest graduates have job opportunities within the state of Michigan.  Mr. Lucido will award the Brighter Tomorrow Scholarship of $250.00 to two deserving students.
