Calling all Cute Dogs: Patch to Help Judge Wag 'N' Tails Halloween Costume Contest

Wag 'N' Tails looking for cutest Shelby dog Oct. 29 during annual Halloween Costume Contest.

Who can resist the sight of a dachshund—also known as a wiener dog—dressed in an Oscar Meyer hot dog package or a Chihuahua dressed as Hugh Hefner?

I certainly can’t. That’s why I’ll be one of five local celebrity judges at Wag ‘N’ Tails annual Halloween Costume Contest on Oct. 29.

The contest will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and the whole community is welcome to bring their dogs dressed in their finest, most clever Halloween costumes.

Kids can come dressed up as well to kick-off the Halloween weekend with some Wag Trick-or-Treating.

However, if you try on your dog’s costume before Halloween and just can’t help snapping a picture and showing off your fury friend before the main event. Send in the picture to Patch, and we’ll post it. Just upload it to this article or send me an email at Marina.Cracchiolo@Patch.com.
