Cruise Into the Past with Utica’s Annual Car Show

Utica's Parks & Recreations Department hosts its annual Car Show for people to show off and admire the cars of the past.

If you are a sucker for classic cars and ridin’ in style, then Utica’s 8th Annual “Cruisin’ with the Oldies” Car Show on August 6 is the oil to your engine. 

For onlookers and admirers, the starts at 11:15 a.m. with a parade of the timeless automobiles from the American Legion Hall to downtown Utica.  This is the perfect event for the whole family—kids, parents and grandparents alike—to enjoy sunny skies and the vintage vehicles of the past. 

You don’t even have to worry about packing snacks as various restaurants in the downtown area will be serving up some delicious eats.  Such restaurants include , , , , , and the Polish Century Club.

While there is no admissions fee for the show, there is a $10 registration fee for those that want to show their cars at the event.  Check-in for those individuals is at the American Legion Hall from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Utica Parks & Recreation Department. 

The event does not close until 5 p.m., so head on out to enjoy a whole day of fun, food and fast cars.
