Dear Cupid: There's a Singing Valentine For That

Here's how to order up a special Valentine's Day serenade in Shelby Township and Utica.

Does your Cupid need a little help this Valentines Day?

On Thursday — that's Valentine's Day, you know — quartets from the Rochester Guardians of Harmony will visit homes, workplaces and restaurants from Shelby Township to Troy to surprise a sweetheart with a long-stem rose and a serenade of two love songs.

The barbershop quartet will dress in tuxedos during the performance, and they'll pose for photos, too.

(Last year, Rochester Patch went along with the quartet as they serenaded a teacher and a business CEO. Watch the video here.)

The chorus is accepting orders for locations within about 15 miles of Rochester and Rochester Hills, which includes Shelby Township and Utica. Call Bill at 248-209-4449 to place an order and reserve a time; the cost is $50.
