The Eisenhower High School student council is hosting several fundraising events throughout Shelby Township and nearby communities to raise money for Ronald McDonald House and Cystic Fibrosis Research and Development.
The Ike students hope to raise $21,000 - the most yet - through nine charity events, set at various restaurants and at one gas station.
“These are two great charities to give to and they are two that are close to home and people close to us could be affected by them. It is also a great way to give money for great causes, yet enjoy a nice dinner out at one of our great fundraiser restaurants, locally in Shelby and Utica,” said Lorenzo Santavicca, junior class vice president.
