Fight Prostate Cancer Like a Man by Getting Mini Manicures

Several events are being held around Southeast Michigan to raise money for the Michigan Institute of Urology's 5K walk/run to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

Businesses around southeast Michigan are helping the Michigan Institute of Urology in Utica educate men to fight prostate cancer (which is the second leading cause of death in men) like a real man, by raising awareness, money and the need for early detection.

For the third year in a row, MIU will host its MIU Run for the Ribbon 5K walk/run, at 8 a.m. on June 19, which is Father’s Day, at the Detroit Zoo.

If you preregister before June 18, the cost is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Race day registration is $30 for adults and $20 for children. Online registration at MIURunForTheRibbon.org is available until June 14.
