Hop to It, Shelby Township and Utica; Easter Egg Hunts Are March 23

Shelby Township and Stony Creek's 2013 Easter Egg Scrambles as well as Utica's Easter Egg Hunt are all March 23.

Hold on to your baskets, Shelby Township and Utica. This year's Shelby Township, Stony Creek and Utica Easter egg hunts are all scheduled for the same day.

Shelby Township Parks & Recreation

Shelby Township Parks & Recreation will host its free Easter Egg Scramble on March 23 at River Bends Park, 5700 22 Mile Rd. This event is open to Shelby Township and Utica residents.

Ages 3-5 are welcome to scramble across the egg-hunting grounds starting at 1 p.m., with ages 6-10 starting at 2 p.m.

Guests must supply their own basket and the Easter Bunny is scheduled to make an appearance as well, so be sure to bring your camera!

This free event will be held rain or shine.

Stony Creek Metropark 

Stony Creek Metropark will host its Egg Scramble on March 23 as well. 

The event starts at 1 p.m. at the Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center.

Guests can take part in the Easter egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, make an Easter craft and more. The Egg Scramble will be grouped by age. 

Preregistrations is required, and will be accepted starting March 9. The event is $4 per child. Call 586-781-9113 to register.

City of Utica

Utica will host its Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. March 23 in Grant Park, located on Hahn, one block east of Van Dyke.

Children from age 1 through sixth grade are welcome to attend.

This event is free.

Easter is March 31 this year.
