Grub Crawl: 9 Restaurants in 4 Hours? No Problem!

Ten restaurants within a 2 mile radius participated in the Spring 2011 edition of the Grub Crawl, which is conjunction with the Macomb Restaurant Week.

Ever been on a pub crawl?  You know - those events where a group walks, stumbles, and eventually crawls from bar to bar over the course of an evening.   For the past several years, Macomb County together with the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber has organized a Grub Crawl twice a year.

The Spring edition featured ten restaurants from the brand new Sterling's Bistro to Sherwood Brewing spanning across Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, Macomb Township, and Shelby Township.

"We've come out to the Grub Crawl for the past couple of years and had a fantastic time," says Michael Height, "So we decided to take grandma out for her eightieth birthday."  A return customer and a special occasion?  There isn't a better endorsement than that.

Approximately 350 people crawled along enjoying specially prepared dishes and drink specials at each establishment.
