Unable to escape from her husband, a 24-year-old Utica woman text messaged her friend to dispatch police to her home at the 45000 block of Kensington around 4:40 a.m. Jan. 3. The man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, domestic assault and possession of marijuana, according to Utica police.

Shelby Township Police Apprehend Man After High-Speed Chase

Shelby Township police arrested a 23-year-old Warren man who lead them on a high-speed chase Jan. 25 in a stolen vehicle. The driver was arrested on charges for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, fleeing and eluding, damage to police property, and driving without a license, according to police.
