The annual Shelby Lions Club car show Sunday at the Packard Proving Grounds attracted hot rod-owners and lovers from various decades.

Car enthusiasts from all over the state came to show off their vehicles from 30s and 40s classics to hot rods and some modern beauties such as the black Lamborghini pictured in the slideshow.

The jam-packed day kicked off at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, followed by the public car show at 10 a.m.  Trophies were awarded to various vehicle owners based on car classes.

Lion's Club member, Magistrate Michael Osear said the annual fundraiser had a great turnout and the weather cooperated.

Each year, the event raises between $10,000 and $20,000 to benefit the various charities the Lions Club supports throughout the year, said Osear.
