Some Shelby-Utica Residents Unable to Drive to Work

Did you have to drive to work? How was your commute?

The snow kept falling and many roads were a mess, but some Shelby-Utica residents still had to get to work.

We asked residents about their commute on the Shelby-Utica Patch Facebook Page.

Here's what they said:

Thomas Wegner posted "Made it to work in about the regular amount of time. From Utica to southfield. Drive was good, main roads plowed although be careful fo a few spots where a lane disappears. M-59 gets pinched to 2 lanes in spots and when you merge onto 75 tat lane disappears fast! I was impressed with the main roads!"

Steve Siwicki shared "Driving from Shelby to Harrison twp then out to imlay city. Roads aren't to bad just the stupid people that are to lazy to clean the snow off their cars."

Marybeth Larson posted "Didn't take the chance! Couldn't get out of my street!"

Jennifer Cook Kadrioski commented "I'm sure if my neighborhood ever gets plowed I could go to work. I got stuck on my street for half hour. Unless you drive a truck there's no getting out of here."
