This morning's fog will likely be a problem throughout the day in Utica and much of southeast Michigan, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

A dense fog advisory will remain in effect until 7 p.m. Friday. Expect visibility of a quarter-mile or less, causing hazardous driving conditions. The NWS advises motorists to slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of room ahead.

The good news? Expect a high of 35 degrees Friday and 40 Saturday – about 50 degrees above this week's record lows.
