Utica's annual Arts and Crafts Show at Grant Park drew a crowd and sent away happy shoppers over the weekend.

Age proves to be useful when it comes to an art fair's reputation.

Utica's 21st Annual Old Mill Arts and Crafts Festival in Grant Park over the weekend was just as successful for some vendors as some of the more well-known art fairs in Michigan.

"Better than I thought. Today I am doing well, so I am thrilled," said Susan Borowiak, owner of Rock Crafter, a Petoskey-based craft company.

Not only did the vendors benefit, but so did the shoppers, and other businesses in Utica.

The influx in visitors and vendors has had Utica buzzing for the past few days. Borowiak said she stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Utica for the two-night craft show and really enjoyed her stay.
