Artists from the Shelby Township Fine Art Society display paintings that are for sale in the Township Municipal Hall four times a year, said president of the society Carole Currier.

"We have a lot of multi-talented artists," said Currier. "We run the gamut from beginners to people who have been in the profession for a long time. One artist has sold paintings from all over the world."

Currier said the artists in the society specilize in 2-dimensional paintings but there are artists in the group that also work with pottery, jewelry and multi-media art.

Anyone intested in purchasing a piece of artwork or contacting the artist can call Currier at 586-566-7544.
