Shelby Township's Miss Michigan To Pass On Her Crown at Pageant

Miss Michigan Angela Venditti, of Shelby Township, will hand over her title Saturday night after one year wearing the crown.

After a year of crossing the state as Miss Michigan, and sharing the message from her platform "Above the Influence: Keeping Kids Drug Free" with countless groups and individuals, Angela Venditti will hand over her crown.

Venditti, a Shelby Township resident who was Miss St. Clair Shores when she was crowned, has reigned for one year and represented Michigan in the Miss America Pageant in January. She didn't bring home the title, but brought her message to a national audience.

Venditti was the first Miss St. Clair Shores to be crowned Miss Michigan since Sherry Agnello Colby in 1973.
