Trouve Upscale Resale Boutique

This week, Shelby-Utica Patch's Fashion Friday visited Trouve Upscale Resale Boutique on Van Dyke Road.
The boutique is owned by Kim Heller, a trendy woman with an eye for bargains. Heller decided to open Trouve after working in the resale business in Howell for almost ten years with friends.
Trouve has been open at this Van Dyke location for about six months. They recently made a move just down the street because they needed more space.

Heller accepts only name-brand clothing and accessories at Trouve Boutique. Customers may bring in any new or used designer clothing, jewelry, shoes, and handbags for consignment. The items are displayed in the store for a 60-day period. If the items are sold, the customer receives 50% of the sale, in cash. If the items are not sold, the customer has the option to pick them up, otherwise they are donated and a tax write-off is received.
Trouve's brands include Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Bebe, and BCBG. Teenagers and young adults can find trendy clothing at low prices, including homecoming and prom dresses, jeans, and designer bags. Older women can shop for reasonably priced suit jackets, trousers, and classy jewelry.

Trouve has ongoing sales. On April 23-24, they are offering 20% off everything in the store, a gift with purchase, and are raffling off a brand new Coach hand bag.
Trouve Upscale Resale Boutique often donates to the Salvation Army. They also have plans to contribute to breast cancer and heart foundations in the near future.
