Annual Tara Grant Run Changes Venue from Stony to Mt. Clemens

Sixth annual Tara Grant Memorial 5K/10K walk and run will be held in downtown Mount Clemens this year.

After five years of memorializing slain Washington Township mother, Tara Grant at , the annual domestic violence walk and run will be moved to Mount Clemens.

Tara Grant, 34, was killed and dismembered by her husband, Stephen Grant in 2007. In an effort to cover-up the murder, Stephen Grant hid his wife's dismembered torso at their home and scattered some of her body parts at Stony Creek, which was just two miles from their home.

Stephen Grant was convicted of second-degree murder, and is serving a 50-80 year sentence in prison for Tara Grant’s death.
