$9.5 Million Healthcare Project Breaks Ground in Shelby Township

Ciena Healthcare, the largest manager and operator of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in Michigan, has announced that the company has broken ground on a new center in Shelby Township. Regency at Shelby Township is located at 7401 22 Mile Rd.

Regency at Shelby Township is scheduled to open in the early fall of 2014 after an investment of almost $9,500,000. The center will provide both long-term care and short- term rehabilitative services with state of the art facilities and equipment for physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Other services will include around-the-clock skilled nursing, wound care management, post-surgical care, cardiac rehabilitation, dietary and nutritional consulting, pain management, and therapeutic life enrichment and recreational activities. The new building will feature a fine dining restaurant with exceptional food available during extended times of the day, library, recreational area, lounge, and salon. The combination of healthcare and personal services available at Regency at Shelby Township will create 120 new jobs.
