Businesswoman from Shelby Township Named to Crain's Top 40 Under 40

Jamie Westrick is named to the prestigious annual list.

A businesswoman from Shelby Township, Jamie Westrick, has been named to the prestigious "40 Under 40" list, as annually published by Crain's Detroit Business.

Westrick, 33, is the vice president of local and national production at Detroit Public Television based in Wixom. She received her undergraduate degree in 2002 from Central Michigan University with a major in broadcast and cinematic arts.

According to Crain's, the award has been given since 1991 and includes a thorough vetting process with industry sources and references. The 2013 class included more than 300 nominees.
