Charter One recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Shelby Creek branch on 26 Mile with family festivities and donation to a local charity.

Charter One recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Shelby Creek branch at 8484 26 Mile in Shelby Township.

During the grand opening celebrations, which included family activities, a $1,000 donation was made to Shelby Township's Extended Hand Charity. The charity provides food and other items to individuals and families in need.

“Extended Hand Charity is a grassroots community organization that has no paid staff and uses volunteers to provide food baskets to local families in need during the holidays,” said Linda Curnutte, president of Extended Hand Charity, in a release. “I want to thank Charter One for its generous contribution which will allow us to help more local families and individuals.”
