Fuel Report: Gas Prices Rise 4 Cents in Shelby-Utica on Monday Morning

As the temperature is rising in the Metro Detroit area, so too are the gas prices.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.32 this morning — up four cents from last week's average of $3.28.

If you're still looking for inexpensive gas, you could travel to Livonia, which boasts the cheapest gas in the region. A Costco station at Industrial Road and Middlebelt Road is selling gas for $3.10 a gallon Monday morning.

Around the Shelby-Utica area, the lowest price you'll find is $3.15 at the Sam's Club station on Utica Park Boulevard and Hall Road. Meanwhile, gas prices are nearly $3.20 at the Costco on Market Street and Hall Road in Shelby Township.
