House Hunt: New Homes Under $300K

Patch.com runs a weekly feature called House Hunt, which highlights different homes for sale in Shelby Township and Utica.

We run this feature for a few reasons: First off, it's informative and helpful to know what homes in the area are selling for. Second of all, real estate is also a great spectator sport–you can feed your curiosity and find out what your favorite home looks like on the inside or people's odd decorating choices.

Either way, this week Patch takes a look at new or slightly used homes that are selling for just under $300,000.

• The first home is located at 54797 Glen Oaks Drive in Shelby Township.

• The third featured home is located at 53680 Aurora Park in Shelby Township.

A brand-new home just like the one above can be built to taste in Forest Park Estates, where homes range in size from 2,750 to 3,500 square feet for $279,900. Hardwood, ceramic, granite and energy-efficient fixtures are all standard.
