'Hunger Games' DVD Comes Out Saturday, Advanced Holds at Library Pass 160

Walmart will also get in on the excitement by hosting midnight release parties Aug. 17 at stores in Clinton, Shelby and Chesterfield townships.

The Hunger Games DVD isn't scheduled to be released until tomorrow, but more than 150 Clinton-Macomb Public Library patrons have already placed holds on one of the library's eight copies.

There's no telling how well the DVD will sell, but having broken several records during its opening weekend in North America, the odds are in the film's favor.

If you find yourself unable to wait for your copy from the library, Walmart stores are selling the film at midnight, hosting midnight release parties across the country, including the stores in Clinton, Shelby and Chesterfield townships.

This offer will be available while supplies last.
