Want to join Shelby-Utica Editor Marina Cracchiolo and food blogger extraordinaire, Joe Hakim of The Hungry Dudes, and a lot of other hungry dudes and dudettes for a night of over eating and good ol’ Macomb County fun?
Patch is giving away a pair of tickets to the April 27 Grub Crawl.
The event happens twice a year, but this time around it's nicely nestled into the Macomb Restaurant Week's calendar.
Here’s how the crawl works: from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., you can sample the menu from nine participating restaurants.
The restaurants included are Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant, Brann's Steakhouse, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Longhorn Steakhouse,, Outback Steakhouse, Roosevelt's, Wildwood Friendly Tavern and .
The best part is a shuttle bus will stop at the nine restaurants every 20 to 30 minutes – so you can dine and dash without having to drive. As the night winds down, you can take the bus back to the restaurant you left your car.
Or you can tour the participating restaurants in your own car.
Tickets are being sold for $25 per person – alcohol is not included. But for two lucky Patch readers, the tickets will be free, you just have to answer one simple question in the comment section below: What’s your favorite restaurant in Macomb County and why?
The winner will be chosen at random and will be instructed where to meet the Patch crew for your Grub Crawl passes.
No contest would be official without "official" rules.
