Shelby Township, Utica Drivers Find Lower Prices at Pump
The average price Monday was around $3.26 in the Metro Detroit area, according to GasBuddy.com. Prices were running about 10 cents cheaper in Shelby Township and Utica.
Local drivers were finding relief at the pump early this week, with prices as low as $3.16 in the Shelby Township and Utica area, according to GasBuddy.com.
The average price of around $3.26 Monday was lower than the previous week of approximately $3.28 and down from last month's $3.41. The average gas price was higher last year at this time, hovering around $3.49 in Metro Detroit, the site reports.
