Tell us how your business got started:

Most of us started our dancing with Fred Astaire Dance Studios and Arthur Murray Dance Studios. Then we opened Dancing Under The Stars because we loved watching our favorite T.V. show. We enjoy dancing like those routines.

Why did you choose your location?

The historic downtown Utica area (located one block NW of Hall Rd. and Van Dyke Ave) really goes well with the elegant traditions found in Ballroom and Latin dancing. Utica offers a wonderful lifestyle to the residents in our area.

What services do you offer?

We offer private lessons, group lessons, and practice party sessions that make dancing a lot of fun! Some of the most popular dances we teach are: Salsa, Tango, Fox Trot, Waltz, Rumba, Swing and Cha Cha, Zumba. We attend local social dance outings, as well as dance in U.S. Ballroom and Latin Dance Competitions.

We teach wedding dances to couples and groups (daddy daughter, wedding party, parents of the wedding couple, entertaining group lesson at the reception etc.)
We perform at local community events such as Dancing With Your Local Stars, and perform a professional floor show that entertains parties and corporate events and fundraisers.

What do you want your business to be best known for?

Fun, easy to learn system of teaching, hobby or interest, spice up your life, grace and poise for the ladies, class and dignity for the gentlemen, health and exercise for everyone, self improvement, great, welcoming people and more.

What is your most popular service?

Our dance lesson are so easy and the exercise is so fun that you don't feel any pain while your dancing. Your problems seem to be left-off at the door and you enjoy meeting like minded people that welcome you to a hobby and sport that they really enjoy doing.
