Young girls of all ages became princesses for the day last Thursday at the Mom and Me Tea at the in Shelby Township.
This bimonthly event invites girls, accompanied by their mothers, to the castle for an experience unlike any other that includes pampering, royal gowns, Victorian etiquette and of course, pastries and tea.
The girls were given the chance to show off their attire in a fashion show as they walked across the stage, demonstrating proper manners taught to them by the castle’s maidens and singing princess entertainers.
“We really like to give the girls a good self-esteem image while they are here,” said Sherrie Clark, owner of the Tea Party Castle. “Every girl is a princess; no matter what color, age or size they are, every single person that walks in is a princess.”
The Tea Party Castle is located at 52565 Van Dyke and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To find out more information about the next Mom and Me Tea or other upcoming events, call 866-484-4662 or visit the Tea Party Castle website.
