Valentine's Day Gift Idea No. 2: Romantic Couples Massage

Ria’s Touch offers the hour and a half of pure relaxation for $90 a couple. The deal ends Feb. 22.

Owner Rupa Schodowski and her business partner, Christy Cherian, will give the side-by-side massage at their office, located on Van Dyke Road between 24 and 23 Mile, or travel for free to any home in Macomb County. There is a fee for travel outside of Macomb.

The couple’s relaxation massage is designed to reduce stress and give you a good night’s sleep.

If the massage isn’t enough to take your mind to a happy place, Schodowski’s own organic therapy massage oils will finish the job.

Schodowski created the all-natural and organic lotions and manufactures the product in Ray Township. The lotions are for sale at Ria's Touch and at several chiropractor offices in Shelby Township.

Singapore-born Schodowski specializes in reflexology, which is considered an alternative medicine. Schodowski applies pressure with her thumb to areas in the hands and feet that reflect an image of the body.

For a little extra pampering, Ria’s Touch also offers full nail services.
