Let's Get the Mortgage Process Moving!!!!

We have a house under contract,  and we have inspected the house.  Now what?  At this point,  we will be sending over your purchase agreement to your lender.  This is one of the most important parts of a real estate transaction.  The lender can make or break a deal.  Now I must digress.  Before we started the sales process, one of the first questions I would have asked is, are you pre approved by a lender?  No Realtor, or seller for that matter will take a potential buyer serious if they haven't been pre approved by a lender.
I want you to put yourself in the shoes of an agent.  Random people call us all the time wanting to see a particular home.  They ask us to leave our home or office, take time away from work or family to drive 20 miles to show a home.  Now I have no problem doing that but........I have to make sure this person is ready, willing and most importantly able to buy this home.  As Realtors,  we have a fiduciary duty to our sellers to make sure we are only bringing qualified clients through their home.  Imagine if you were a seller.  Imagine that the phone rings and it's my office calling to schedule a showing.  You then have to pack up the kids and leave for an hour.  It can be a lot of work.  Now imagine if you found out that the agent brought an unqualified buyer through your home.  You'd be pretty frustrated, wouldn't you?  Getting a pre qualification letter from a reputable lender is the key to the sales process. My business partner Dawn Symington is a great loan officer.  The reason I am so fond of her business is because each buyer is brought into the office and educated on the loan process.  She walks you through all your options and helps you create some parameters for price and taxes of your new home.
You can contact Dawn at Top Flite Financial HERE for all your mortgage needs.  And as always if you are looking to sell a home.....buy a home.....or invest in real estate contact me at www.christaylor.kwrealty.com.
