What a tough weekend for sports fans. Michigan choked away a win, followed by what many are calling a bigger choke by the Tigers last night. How you lose a 5-0 ballgame late I don’t know. But we managed to find a way. Either way if I told you on Friday that we were coming home with a split most would’ve been happy. I have to admit I am not that excited about a 4pm game on Tuesday. It just means I am going to have to work extra hard so I can be on the couch by 4pm lol.
I am finishing up a new build for a client in Harrison Twp. It’s beautiful I will post pictures next week when she is all done. We are seeing a lot more new construction due to the lack of available homes. This is good news. New builds are fun. You get to pick out all your own fixtures, kitchens etc. It’s cool to see someone else's dreams come to fruition. I am very excited for this couple.
Inventory levels are still low. I listed a small condo last week in Harrison Twp, and we had to request “no showings” the first 2 weeks, due to medical issues with the seller. Agents are practically beating her door down trying to get in. It’s pretty incredible when you think about it. I am also listing a property up in Memphis tonight. It’s far out in the country, but I anticipate it will sell fast too. The home is a beautiful cape cod on 5 acres. More than likely it will sell in a couple weeks for 185k-190k or so. The difficult part won’t be selling it. It will be finding her a condo in the Chesterfield-Macomb area. But I am up for the challenge.
