Have you ever thought about what your favorite part of your job is? I think about it all the time. One of the answers that always comes up is that I really get a good feel for so many different neighborhoods and areas in Macomb, St Clair and Oakland counties. Whether it's a particular street or if it's different cafe's and restaurants, I know I wouldn't ever be in if I wasn't working in the area. I really love that.
I was recently working with a client in Sterling Heights, and he wanted to stop and grab a sandwich from a place I had never been. We popped into Ventimiglia's on Dodge Park, and I proceeded to devour an awesome Italian sub! I never would've stopped in there on my own if it wasn't for my client recommending it. Another great establishment I have been introduced to recently is The Little Mustard Seed Cafe in New Baltimore. I never would've ended up there if it wasn't for clients of mine.
That's one of the reasons I love Patch. Patch gives local shops and businesses a voice and helps get some much needed exposure. It's funny how different business can be, but how we all need recommendations from friends, family and past clients to continue our business.
