Thank You!

Thank you to the Shelby Utica community for your support in finding Rusty.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude the the amazing Shelby and Utica communities for helping us search for Rusty last week. After a full 7 days of searching, we found Rusty, and his owner was so happy to have her little guy back home.

Day-and-night for 7-straight days, teams of at least 10 people were walking through subdivisions, parks and trailways calling Rusty's name and passing out flyers. Through their dedication to spread the word, local residents knew who Rusty was when they saw him in their yard.

Thank you to my amazing staff who worked tirelessly throughout the search! They volunteered their time and passion for pups to find Rusty and it made all the difference.

Rusty was the first dog to make his way past our security and trainers and staff here at Wag 'N' Tails and I want to make sure he's the last. Most dog centers or day care facility's would shy away from talking about a missing dog, I feel the opposite. Rusty ran in spite of our extended efforts to help this skiddish dog. After 2 years with Wag trainers, he had come a long way in feeling more secure and better behaved. In the coming weeks and months, we'll be preparing a workshop for anyone in the community who has a skiddish dog. Once ready, the workshops will be free and teach dog owners how to comfort their dogs in any situation. This will ensure that when the door is open-the dog stays home!

We wouldn't have a happy Rusty without the help of this amazing community.
