Man's Wallet Stolen at Snookers

Police said a man’s wallet was stolen from his jacket while he played poker at Snookers Pool and Pub in Utica Sunday, and then his credit cards were fraudulently used.

The victim said he hung his jacket, which had his wallet and keys, on the back of his chair just before 8 p.m. as he played poker.

When he reached into his pocket nearly two hours later, he realized his wallet was missing, the man told police.

Several charges at Meijer and Marshalls on Hall Road had been made on his credit cards within those two hours, police said. The victim canceled his cards and no arrests have been made.
