Shelby Tree Lighting Ceremony Kicks Off Holiday Season

Shelby will be aglow on Dec. 1 when Santa himself lights up the Township's Christmas Tree.

Dec. 1 officially rings in the Christmas season in Shelby Township with the lighting of the Township’s tree.

The good ol’ fashioned family holiday experience begins at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Grounds.

Not only will the township light the tree, there will be plenty of family-friendly activities and even a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus and his jolly elves.
