Macomb Literacy Partners Holiday Bookfair at Barnes & Noble

Wrap up that holiday shopping -- literally -- at the Macomb Literacy Partners bookfair at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, Dec. 8, and help out a great organization at the same time!

Mention Macomb Literacy Partners (or give Bookfair ID #10902351) when you’re making your purchases from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble on Hall Road in Shelby Township andMacomb Literacy Partners will receive a portion of the profits from that purchase!

Volunteers from Macomb Literacy Partners will be joyfully wrapping purchases as well. Plus, Rosco the Clown will be there!

Here's what's going on at the bookfair:

10 a.m. – 9 p.m. – Macomb Literacy Partners volunteers wrap gifts (for donations) 

10 a.m. – noon – Macomb Literacy Partners English as a Second Language conversation group

Noon – 1 p.m. – Rosco the Clown performs for children of all ages

1 – 2 p.m. – Tutor Talk for tutors

2 – 3 p.m. — Cheesecake in the Starbucks Café with Macomb Literacy Partners board members

7 – 10 p.m. — Teen Caffeine Scene: Teens meet for coffee in the Starbucks café and give back by helping with gift wrapping.
