North Oakland Concert Band presents "A Winter's Night"

Join the North Oakland Concert Band for an evening of holiday music that is guaranteed to wake up your holiday spirit. Be sure to get there early for the best seats and to enjoy the sounds of several small ensembles drawn from the band starting at 6:00 pm. The concert is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted.

The program includes Music for the Royal Fireworks by Handel, a Fantasy on Spanish Carols by Gene Milford, the Fantasia on the Alleluia Hymn, by Gordon Jacob, and On This Day by Tom Wallace. The program also features two vocal soloists: Ronald Hirchberger Jr., baritone with the Detroit Concert Choir, singing Christmas on Broadway and NOCB’s own Mike Theunick singing Let There Be Peace On Earth by Miller and Jackson.

After the concert, we invite you to enjoy refreshments and the music of Tom Allport and his combo, composed of NOCB members.
