Be Your Own Hero - Personal Safety Workshop
Girls ages 11-14
Saturday, April 5, 2014
Girls will learn how to avoid being the victim of an attack, plus escape and protection strategies for if they do find themselves in danger. Police Officers and personal safety professionals will share potentially life saving safety tips and techniques. We will also talk about Internet safety, and show them how to be safe in cyber space. Participants will create ID cards, with photos and fingerprints, and more...No scare tactics involved...our goal is to empower young girls to be their own hero!
