Women's Book Club Meeting

Java Readers, a Macomb County book club, is looking for new members to join them in reading and discussing great books, social events, and participating in charitable events for local organizations.

The diverse group of lively and interesting women meets monthly, every 4th Thursday, at 10 a.m. to discuss the month’s book. The next meeting  is Thursday, August 22. The group will be discussing Quiet by Susan Cain at Barnes and Noble on Hall Road.

On September 25, The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh will be discussed  at 10 a.m at Barnes and Noble on Hall Road.

Says Aleena Watford, one of the group’s founding members: “On top of our reading repertoire, we have the desire to serve local charities, celebrate life together and build lasting friendships. There is room for everyone here that wishes to join us in this adventure.”
